Ryokan Kutsuroginoya Yuu - Takayama (Gifu)

We loved staying at this luxury hotel! The location was perfect, with a bus stop right outside, making it easily accessible. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The hotel had a lot of character, with a charming library and comfortable lounging areas. The room amenities were top-notch, with heating, air conditioning, and a cozy sitting area. The dining experience was unforgettable, with delicious meals featuring their specialty hida beef. The onsen, both indoor and outdoor, were a treat, providing a relaxing atmosphere with a stunning view of the distant mountains. our stay here was fantastic!

We had an amazing stay with excellent service and amazing food. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel also provided transportation to nearby towns.

The hotel was quite remote, which made it difficult to explore the surrounding area without a car. transportation options were limited and required some planning ahead.

We had a fantastic Christmas vacation at this amazing hotel! the dinner was exquisite, and we enjoyed the private outdoor bath in our room. the staff was very accommodating to our needs and preferences. the location was perfect, with easy access to transportation right in front of the hotel. We loved the library and the unique decor.

Although we had a great time, we did find some areas for improvement. It would have been helpful to have a simplified menu with notes in English, and some guidance on the order of dishes during meals.

The location can be a bit isolated and far from other attractions.
